"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover"

Back to School

August 23, 2010
Summer vacation is over.
The kids went back to school today.
Noah was having a hard time falling asleep last night because he was so excited.
Oakleigh is her 7th grade class President this year.  I'm very pleased with her for this accomplishment.  She should learn a lot this year.
Izabelle was excited as well.  She has been reading all summer long.  She filled out a summer reading chart for each reading session.  She is looking forward to turning the chart in to the school library for a special prize.
They each received a Father's Blessing.  I'm grateful to be able to to do this for them each year.
Liz isn't quite sure what she's going to do with herself now that the kids are back in school.  The kids are getting older and are able to help around the house a lot more.  Therefore, the house still gets messy, but it's easier to clean.  This leaves her with spare time.  She has been attending SLCC to become a registered nurse, but finances have limited that for a semester.  She's kicking around the possibility of a job.  The income would be nice, but it's more important to us that one of us is home when the kids are home.
